ASCP Mentorship Award

This award honors ASCP members who have demonstrated excellence in mentoring by providing support, encouragement, and promoting the field of pathology to students and residents.

This award is open to current pathology fellow and laboratory professional members. Not a member? Join today.

To celebrate the honoree鈥檚 distinguished achievements, ASCP will:

  • Provide complimentary registration to ASCP Annual Meeting and a stipend to assist with travel and lodging
  • Issue an elegant, engraved trophy to commemorate this honor
  • Highlight the honoree鈥檚 accomplishments on the ASCP website and in an ASCP publication or newsletter

Nominate a Member

Complete an with any necessary supplementary information, including a current CV, and a statement of qualifications describing why this person is a successful/positive role model, including how they:

  • Commit to advancing long-term professional development by providing guidance during and after training
  • Develop mutual respect and interest with student/resident
  • Maintain open line of communication

If available, please also include the following:

  • ASCP member activities over the nominee鈥檚 lifetime
  • Nominee鈥檚 services to the community
  • How the nominee has enhanced the image of laboratory medicine
  • Awards and/or formal recognition in the field of laboratory medicine
